At Animal House Veterinary Clinic our Nashville veterinarians offer state-of-the-art diagnostic technology to pets in the Nashville area. One of the tools we use is ultrasound, which creates images of the inner workings of the body so we can detect, diagnose, and prevent illness in your pet.

Ultrasound uses sound waves to offer a non-invasive, painless, and radiation-free method of imaging your pet’s internal organs. Ultrasounds usually require some sedation because the patient must remain completely still.

Pricing ranges from $58-$132.

If you have any questions about ultrasounds or other diagnostics, please contact us today at 615-575-6118.

Can you imagine what would happen to your teeth if you never brushed them? It’s no different for cats and dogs—although many pet owners don’t pay very much attention to their pet’s dental health.

Bad breath and dirty teeth are unappealing, but many pet owners aren’t aware that these may be indicators of gum disease. Eventually, all those bacteria can spread to the kidney, heart, and liver, causing serious illness and even shortening your pet’s life. That’s not to mention tooth loss, trouble eating, and the pain that rotting teeth and infected gums can cause your pet.

Dental cleanings for pets can vary in price depending on the patient and what is needed. As with spay or neuters, we require all patients be up to date on vaccines at the time of the dental procedure.

All pets will need to have a preoperative exam ($45), consultation, and estimate performed prior to scheduling a dental procedure. This service can be provided during our walk-in hours, Monday through Friday 8 am -5 pm. No appointment necessary.

Dental Pricing starts at:

  • Dental Cleaning $276
  • Dental xRay full mouth $276
  • Tier 1 extractions $165
  • Tier 2 extractions $276
  • Tier 3 extractions $387
  • Tier 4 extractions $493

When you bring your pet in for a dental exam, our veterinarians can provide you with an adequate estimate for teeth cleaning and other pet dental services if necessary.

One way we give your pets the best veterinary diagnostic care is with digital radiology. Radiographs, or X-rays, use electromagnetic radiation directed towards the body to highlight objects within. They can detect abnormalities including skeletal fractures, soft tissue damage, foreign bodies, and dental disease without surgery.

Digital radiology is quick. In fact, we can often see the images seconds after we take it. This also saves time because we don’t have to repeat images if they are too dark or too light—we can simply change the contrast!

Pricing:

  • 2 or more views $154
  • Bladder only $78

Vaccinations are a critical part of your pet’s overall health care, and one—rabies—is required for dogs and cats by law in most states, including Tennessee.

In addition to preventing many life-threatening illnesses, vaccinations can prevent other diseases prevalent in wildlife and those that can be passed to humans. It's important to administer vaccinations when pets are puppies and kittens because their young immune systems are still developing and need protection to stay healthy. We offer Wellness Packages and encourage all of our pet owners to keep their pets up to date on all vaccines.

While any medical treatment involves some degree of risk, in the case of vaccinations, the benefits far outweigh any potential side effects. Adverse reactions are rare and usually mild and short-term when they do occur.

Our veterinarians can advise you which vaccinations are required or recommended for your pet based on age, health, and lifestyle. The links below outline which vaccinations we generally recommend for pets, but it can vary dependent upon your animal companion’s age, health, and lifestyle.

In order to receive vaccines at Animal House, the pet must have a current physical exam from our facility. Individual Vaccine Prices are as follows:

  • Intranasal Bordetella: $22
